Thank you to all of you bikers, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make our 2008 Lakeland Hospice Ride a HUGE success. Money raised will help provide loving care to Hospice patients and their families.
Sept. 6th turned out to be a beautiful day for a ride! The weather brought out a recored number of riders. 447 bikes and 650 riders made their way to UMotors. At noon we headed out of Fergus Falls. The ride was beautiful; winding roads, hills, lakes, trees and even a few bald eagles. We stopped at Willy's and Peg Legs in Dent.... The Roadhouse in Cormorant and the Powerhouse in Rothsay.
The ride ended with a supper at the Z103 Bar and Grill in Fergus Falls, the drawing for the cash prizes and of course the 2008 Heritage Classic Soft-Tail Motorcycle.
Curtis Engels from Brookings, South Dakota was the lucky winner of the motorcycle. Curtis and his buddies were in the crowd for the exciting moment.

The $500 winners were: Norm Jarva $500 of Gilbert, MN and Steven Pritchard, of Fergus Falls.
