New 2009 RIDE INFORMATION ANNOUNCED!
The 8th annual 2009 Lakeland Hospice Ride will be Saturday, September 12th. We are crossing our fingers for another beautiful day.
There are some exciting things happening in 2009. Lakeland Hospice is celebrating our 25th anniversary, construction will be complete on the Lakeland Hospice House and our offices moved to 1505 Pebble Lake Road in Fergus Falls, Minn, the old Pamida Building on the South East end of Fergus Falls. Since our new offices are now located at the edge of town and since our new parking lot is HUGE, we will be starting our ride from our new offices. The ride will start at Noon, SHARP rain or shine.
We had great feedback on the route last year, so we are working on a route that will be equally enjoyable. The route will be about 125 miles. The ride is still a free-will donation. All of the proceeds will be used for the loving care of Hospice patients and their families in our 15 county region. This year we will end the ride at the Fergus Falls American Legion on Hwy 59 (or also known as Pebble Lake Road). There is camping up the road at Delagoon Park for both tents and trailers. We will get back to Fergus Falls around 5:00 pm. We will have a free will donation supper.Then we give away some great door prizes.
At 6:30 p.m. we will raffle off the 2009 black Harley Heritage Softail. This year’s winner could be you! Don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets. Only 2,500 are sold at $20 each. Last year we sold out, so get your tickets early. There will be a band at 8:00 so stick around for a great evening. Don’t forget to register for the ride early. If you register before Sept 1st, you will be placed into a drawing for a wonderful door prize. You can register on this web site, stopping by the office or request a registration form be mailed to you.
